Holotype, allotype, and morphotype, National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, Washington D.C. 118944, 144954, 144955 (male I, female, male II); paratypes, National Museum of Natural History, Smithsonian Institution, Washington D.C.

Type Locality

Little Tennessee River at U.S. Highway 441, south of Dillard, Rabun County, Georgia.

Range

Known only from the Little Tennessee River in Rabun County, Georgia, and Macon County, North Carolina.

Habitat

Streams.
